Italian Language & Culture

Experience & Activities

GIULIA  was born and raised in Parma, the Northern Italian city of Parmigiano and Prosciutto di Parma, and moved to the United States for good, almost 10 years ago. She taught Italian language and culture for 5 years at a fine dining culinary school in Italy, to international students coming from different countries, but mostly from the United States, along with other duties associated with their program, such as field trips to culturally and culinarily significant locations. While she currently lives and works in Maryland as a French and Spanish teacher, she usually spends the summer working as an Italian and/or ESL teacher in New York City. She has a BA in Foreign languages and Literature from the University of Parma, with a major in French language and literature, and a double minor in Spanish and English. She also lived in France during and after graduating from college, and in Thailand for one year, teaching French and ESL.
