SALVO is a native Italian speaker born in Basilicata, Southern Italy. From an early age, he was an avid reader infatuated with words and passionate about the classics. His lifetime appreciation of the humanities resulted in a summa cum laude graduation in Philosophy and Literature. He has extensive experience in teaching Italian to students from the most varied backgrounds and his guidance in language acquisition is dedicated and enthusiastic with a friendly and patient approach. Salvo is also a remarkably talented saxophonist and improviser with years of music education behind him. When not teaching, he is often performing with some of the finest jazz musicians around New York.
