Experience & Activities
FRED is an opera and theatre director who recently moved to New York City after more than 25 years of professional experience in Italy and abroad. He has directed numerous opera and theatre productions and has collaborated with leading cultural institutions. Alongside his artistic career, he teaches at the Accademia Paolo Grassi and at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. He holds a Master’s degree in Italian Literature from the University of Milan and a postgraduate diploma in Opera Stage Direction from the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. He is passionate about teaching and believes in the power of theatre and music to inspire creativity and human connection. His interests include theatre, music, literature and nature.
