Experience & Activities

ANASTASIA, is an Italian native speaker with roots all over the beautiful peninsula: she grew up splitting her time between a small town in Southern Lazio and Genova, Liguria’s “capital”. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, and for years she traveled all across Italy working as an event manager, which really fueled her passion for tourism and cultural events. Now at SpeakItaly NYC, she gets to bring all of that experience together to coordinate our programs and support our awesome team of teachers.
This role is incredibly close to her heart because she is currently raising two little girls in a bilingual Italian American home. She completely gets the daily hustle, the trial and error, and the joy of helping kids learn the language from scratch, so she loves being a resource for our parents who are on the same journey! When she is not working with our families or planning our next semester, you can usually find her up in the clouds: she is a passionate aviator and loves flying in her free time!
