Francesca M.

Experience & Activities

FRANCESCA was born and raised in Vicenza, a charming town in Italy’s Veneto region, where her love for languages first took root. She holds both an Italian and an American high school diploma and earned a Master’s degree in Languages for International Cooperation from the University of Milan, where she studied English, Chinese, and Spanish. She also completed specialized training in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language. Before moving to New York, Francesca taught English as a Second Language to students of all ages—from young children to high schoolers and adults—and helped newly arrived adults in Vicenza learn Italian. She believes that language learning thrives when students feel inspired and supported, and she’s passionate about creating engaging, personalized lessons that make each learner feel confident and curious. Outside the classroom, Francesca loves traveling (especially to islands!), reading, and trying new foods with her husband.
