MICHELA is a passionate language educator from Pisa, Italy, who recently brought her love for teaching to New York City. With a background in linguistics, translation, and foreign languages and literature from the University of Pisa, and experience as a former researcher at Italy’s National Research Council (CNR), she blends academic insight with creativity. A children’s picture book writer by passion, she has a natural talent for connecting with young learners. Michela has extensive experience in bilingual preschool settings, where she developed a natural and affective-humanistic approach to language teaching. Her classes are joyful, dynamic, and immersive: filled with songs with motions, games, and storytelling that bring Italian to life.
