Group Classes for Children – Giardino dei Mezzani (age 6-7)

Full Term 15-17 weeks (excluding national holidays)
Elevate your children’s Italian language skills to new heights with our dynamic and interactive classes. Our carefully crafted curriculum is designed to enhance their writing abilities, deepen their understanding of grammar, and provide opportunities to engage with other Italian-speaking children. With a strong emphasis on making each lesson engaging and enjoyable, we incorporate a variety of exercises and games to keep the learning experience vibrant and stimulating. Our comprehensive approach focuses on developing communicative abilities, expanding vocabulary, and honing crucial language skills such as listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, and basic grammar. To ensure continuity, we review topics from previous lessons at the beginning of each session while introducing a new topic every week.
*Please note that enrolling students should already possess the ability to read and write.

- Tuesday 5:30-6:30PM – starting 9/17 (17 Weeks)
- Wednesday 3:30-5 PM – starting 9/18 (17 Weeks) – (High Beginner-Native)
- Thursday 5:30-6:30PM – starting 9/19 (15 Weeks)
- Friday 5-6 PM – starting 9/20 (15 Weeks)
*** 1 Make Up Class available at the end of the semester (Week of Feb 3rd)
LANGUAGE LEVELS FOR GROUP COURSES:
Absolute Beginner – Introduction to Italian
This group class is for absolute beginners. Your child has never studied Italian. He/She will be exposed to the Italian Language by learning the basics (colors, number, season, months ecc..) through a variety of activities and by creating simple sentences with the help of the teacher. In this way, kids will also be introduced to Italian grammar and start to get familiar with it.
Beginner – Your child knows some Italian vocabulary but despite a good understanding, he/she still struggles to communicate orally in a spontaneous way. In this class, the teacher will speak only in Italian to allow your child to get more and more familiar with the language and help him/her to eventually respond/speak in Italian. Kids will also improve the grammar that they had studied in an absolute beginner class.
High Beginner – Your child already knows the basics of Italian grammar for beginners and we will help them to improve it more.
Native Level – If your child is a (like) native Italian speaker, this is the right class.
**For all levels: Topics from prior lessons are reviewed at the beginning of each session. A new topic is introduced every week.
